Print Shop Pro FAQ
How do I start tracking inventory?
You simply conduct your initial inventory and enter it into the system. From that
point on it is completely automated. Every time you do a job you put the order into
the system and it will automatically deduct it from the inventory. You can also
establish minimums and the system will notify you when you go below minimum level.
Can I print ad hoc reports?
Absolutely. In addition to the built-in reports that are designed to help you manage
your print shop operations, the program allows you to set up filters to pull custom
reports in seconds.
Can I customize my quotes?
In a flash. You simply fill in your shop information and insert your logo. Once
that is done, every quote will have that professional and custom look you are looking
for. You can print and fax the quote to your customer or send it via email.
Can I pull reports based on account codes?
Yes. That is one of the built-in reports in the program.
We outsource our graphic design. Can PSP calculate this into
customer quotes and job tickets?
Yes. Our print shop solutions have a customizable table to compute outsourced time
and labor. You simply enter the cost per hour for each outsourced activity, and
when completing an order indicate if the job requires any outsourcing. The program
will then add the outsourced fee into the job amount.
Is it easy to install and use?
Yes. It was designed for print shop managers, not programmers. We send you a pre-installation
checklist prior to training and we pre-install your inventory list and customer
list to make setup easy. One of our knowledgeable software technicians will come
out to your facility to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to the world of
automation. Installation and training takes only a few hours.
What are the hardware/system requirements for your print shop
solutions?
