Capistrano Unified School District Wins Flex Your Power Award
By using EDU's Energy Saver Pro software that automatically powers down computer monitors, CUSD decreased operating hours 30%. Total savings is expected to amount to more than $4,000 a month. Financial savings also included reduced cooling costs because fewer monitor operating hours meant less heat was generated. CUSD plans to install the software on more than 10,700 computers by the end of the 2005-2006 school year.
